Friday: WMS Fall Dance: 10/27 @7-9PM

Formerly referred to as the Halloween Dance, the annual “WMS Fall Dance” will be on Friday evening, October 27th for grades 6th, 7th & 8th. Costumes are optional and appropriate choices will be discussed during Advisory time. Our President’s Discretionary budget will be used since this wasn’t a planned PTO expense. Attendance numbers have grown post-pandemic and we are happy to make this a really fun event for all grades in the two separate spaces (Cafeteria: Grade 6 and Gym A: Grades 7 & 8).

If you would like to volunteer for an hour to pass out water and snacks please email Katie at wmsptoinfo@gmail.com. If you would rather be undercover and volunteer before the dance from 6-7pm to hang decorations, please let us know. We hope to add some Fall Decor for the first time this year and all decoration donations/expertise are welcome!

Stay tuned next week for details like: 6th graders entering at the Kingsbury Doors, 7 & 8th graders entering at the Donizetti doors. We strongly recommend that attendees **do not bring cell phones**. Students must stay for the duration from 7-9pm, **unless there is an emergency**.

Please plan to pick up your student promptly at 9pm (at the same door you dropped them off).

Saturday: Community Service Morning, 8-10am

Please bring the family and join us in the Kingsbury Courtyard to care for the pollinator garden in front of WMS. Stop by anytime from 8:00-10:00am to give back to the community by helping our town gardener extraordinaire, Susy Jordan, do some edging and weeding of the beds.

We’ll also divide and transplant some of the plants around the brand new WMS sign. Come and get a closer look of our latest PTO project that has been 2 years in the making!
